Did you know, the world-famous Snapper Rocks is only a five-minute drive from our Tweed Heads Park?

Snapper Rocks, locally known as ‘Snapper’ is a point break forming the first part of the man-made Superbank which extends from Snapper Rocks Point, through to Kirra, for a distance of around two kilometres.

The Superbank is now renowned as one of the most consistent breaks in QLD and plays host to the annual World Surf Leagues’ Quicksilver and Roxy Pros. But it’s not all about the surfers, this beach is also popular as a family day out destination, with picnic tables and amenities close by with parking being an added bonus. Make sure you pack your fishing gear for some beach fishing or to dig around in the rock pools nearby.
